Honestly I'm not. It's a little weird to update this, since I'm not that sure that anyone even comes on here anymore!

Hmm, what's new, what's new.

I'm going back to University - Christchurch this time, to do teaching. Hopefully will last longer than six months.

Hmm, it's been a while but I'm annoyed so I'll post.

Back in August I found a ton of letters written by my Grandfather (Ernest) to my Granny (Edith) in WW2, between the years 1943 and 1946. I'm currently typing them up and I've just spent over an hour and a half trying to find some records of Grandpa's regiment. All I've come up with is a timeline of the events the regiment went through, but there are no records of individual soldiers from WW2, only WW1. It's extremely frustrating, but at least I've got an address to write to. I mean, these letters are so fascinating - most of it is a lot of joking and telling Granny how much he loves her :-) but there's also quite a lot of info on his movements. He's been through Africa and Italy and I'm in September of 1944 and he's been posted in Hawick, Scotland for a few months now. But he's seen some amazing stuff, like the 1944 eruption of Vesuvius, he's about to be in a parade for the Duke fo Edinburgh...

I just wish I could find some trace of him online. I mean, I have his Regiment, Battalion and personal number. You'd think that would be enough. I have all the addresses of the places he was posted, including the Wellington Barracks in London.

I also think he may have been dyslexic, like Dad. Or has a severe hatred of full stops and apostrophes.

...in other news, I hate my job and am looking for another one.

I'm aliiiiive!

So, last time I updated I was about to drop out of university. I have now dropped out, gotten a jbo and life is pretty much the same as it was before I went to uni, except I have even less money! Woo....

Everybody, leave me a comment on how you're doing. I desperately need to catch up with some of you! Others (coughcharlottecought) I probably see too much of ^_~

Since I covered pretty much all of my news in the first paragraph I'm going to watch TV. Love to all.

Hello dahlings! Thought that I might update for a change!

Well, I'm still trying to withdraw from uni. I've told them that I'm leaving, but they can't QUITE seem to grasp the concept. Instead I have several appointments with people who are trying to convince me not to leave, because I am "clearly a good student that they would be sorry to lose". If you believe bullshit like that.

So that should be interesting. But I'll be going home 2 weeks today for Becky's birthay anyway, just for a few days.

God, I might just be the saddest person in the world, sat here watching 'Cash in the Attic'. But I'm too tired to move and change the channel since certain people on this corridor went out last night and came back raving drunk at around 2 in the morning, running up and down the corridor...

I can't wait to move back home with my luvverly buddies. T'will be awesome. Hmm, I don't really have anything to say right now. So I'll do a quiz.

Bored. So vored. Sat here writing out train times to go back to the shithole that is Bangor and trying to organise something to do tomorrow night so I don't get stuck at home with the family for New Years!

Had a talk with Mum and Dad and if Uni is still as shit as Easter as it is now, they're gonna come and get my stuff and I'll drop out. I just hate it there and it's pointless me being there, wasting thousands of pounds for nothing. I have plans though. I've organised what's going to happen after uni. I blame CGSG for cramming university stuff down our throats week after week. Anyone going to the awards thing next week?

On the other hand I may fall madly in love with the place in the next three months and change my mind. but it ain't likely.

I've been very bad at keeping in contact lately so here are a few little messages.

Lorsie - I know. I suck as an e-mail buddy! My New Years Resolution is to email you regularly!

Mimi - We need to start chatting on msn again! I miss you... plus you can talk to me about your Vampire obsession!

Rai - Glad you're loving uni, but we need to catch up at some point!

Ginger - Same as above (apart from the uni bit)! And also remind me to come and get my stuff back from you!

Charlotte - We need to do that Girl's day in thing at some point.

Tammy (if you still update!) - I luff you! We should go shopping or something.

Ruth - Again, need to do stuff. I miss all of us hanging out everyday.

Well, here I am, back in Jolly Old Wales after a week at home. A rather good week at home! Had loads of fun seeing everyone and then going to Uncle Andrew's wedding. And, for the first time in weeks, I've bothered to tidy my room so I can actually see the floor for once! I give it two days, if that...

There was snow on the mountains this morning. I can see mountains out of my bedroom window. It's quite impressive! Anywho, there was snow. I'm hoping it'll stay up there and leave us alone, but I'm not optomistic!

Hmm... dunno what else to say, really. Oh well, hope everyone's having fun wherever!

WHAT is the point in making a fantastic series only to make a less great second series and just when that series is picking up END it on the mother of all bloody cliffhangers with no plans for a bloody third season????

In other news - 15 days til I go home! W00t! That makes for a happy Katie. Plus Zak and his very nice girlfriend Kayleigh came to see me and Darren and we had a lot of fun. I'm a little bit homesick now they've gone but it's only 15 days! W00t!

And Dave informed of the late Halloween night at Oast, which I shall of course be attending. If I can think of a costume. It's Vicky-from-downstairs' birthday on the 1st November so we're having a Halloween night for that too and I don't know what to go as. Suggestons welcome!

Only 22 days until I can go home.

 

Sigh. Don't get me wrong, I like it here. The classes are really good and the people are nice. But our corridor (top floor) and the people from the corridor beneath us are starting to hang out a lot more. They're all really great but now everyone's starting to group off and I just don't fit in with any of them. They all come from the same areas or near enough. I'm completely out of the way.

 

I wish I could go home. I have a group there.

well hello. I have had party but now paarty is over because people have gone out but i Mam tured and want to update muy jopurnal.

I like university and i like wales and i like the people, btu i miss many people at home. Drarren came to our party and it was nice to see him, cos we talked about people that we knew from kent and scool. I miss all my friends, like charlote an d jessi and dace and ryan and layren and jim and all the oasties and manorites. and i miss my mum and my das and brother and sister and i realy miss muy dog because he#'s so cute and it was his birthdayb yesterday!! Haooy Bithdy Toppa!!

but i will be comin home at around 13th november which will be marvellous. I love all you people, including Lorsie cos she's my buddy and Mimi cos she is my other bddy and they are awesome. my knee is hurting but i am going to be now. I don't like my msn  because it keeops crashing and i can't talk to my buddies, but i shall try becaues i loventhem muchkly.

Very quick update since I'm on my floormate's computer - I don't have internet yet! Here I am in Bangor. And I love it!! it's so great here, and my floormates are all so cool. I'm even managing to find my way around ok!

But I miss you all so much. I'll have internet on Thursday night so I'll try and write some loving emails then. 

Mwah.

And as far as I can work out, my room is on the top floor. Lovely.

So, stuff is actually going on in my life, so I figured I'd update about! I only remembered because my brother and I were having a conversation after watching Doctor WHo, and a Dalek downloads the internet, only to find paedophiles chasing underage kids and lots of livejournals and badly written fanfiction.

So there's a lovely little random moment for ya!

Anywho, other stuff. Leaving for Bangor next Friday, since we're dropping Ben's stuff off in Liverpool first. I can't wait to get to my room and decorate it with all my funky new posters! I've got an Advent Children one, a Serenity one, a Phantom one (obviously) and a Labyrinth one. It will be Teh Awesome.

So, if anyone wants to say goodbye to me, Thursday's your chance! Charlotte is organising stuff, talk to her. Mostly because she is my desginated driver and also because I sure as hell don't know what's going on. I think the basic plan is Mango Joe's for karaoke and then Oast.

Another thought for ya - what the hell is wrong with my dogs? They're all crazy! We've had Toppa six months on the 29th and in that time he's had a £600 tooth operation after biting a barbed wire fence, been attacked by the Evil Nazi Dog in the next street over (I plan to egg it's house before I go) and yesterday he jumped up at a fence, chasing a squirrel and has managed to rip a chunk out of his pad. I only noticed because he was licking it and I thought there was something stuck in his paw.

Yeah - we attract crazy dogs. Cute crazy dogs, but crazy nonetheless.

Now I'm going to get back to reading fanfiction and trying to think of excuses for Mimi as to why I haven't written a word in days. ^_^
